Copyright and Legal Notice

All content, design, features, functionality, and data (collectively, "Content") within the Kotipathi application (the "App") are exclusively owned by PikLig Developers ("we", "us", or "our") and are rigorously protected under the Intellectual Property Act, No. 36 of 2003 of Sri Lanka, and other relevant international copyright and intellectual property treaties.

Users of the Kotipathi App are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the App solely for the purpose of viewing lottery results for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including but not limited to data extraction, reproduction, distribution, modification, or creation of derivative works, is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of PikLig Developers.

Kotipathi and its associated logos, slogans, and service marks are registered and/or unregistered trademarks of PikLig Developers in Sri Lanka and other jurisdictions. The names, marks, and logos of the National Lotteries Board, Development Lotteries Board, and other lottery organizations mentioned in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used within the App for informational purposes only under the principles of fair use. Such use does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship by these organizations.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Use the App in compliance with all applicable Sri Lankan laws and regulations, including the Intellectual Property Act, the Computer Crimes Act, and the Electronic Transactions Act.
Not engage in any activity that disrupts, interferes with, or harms the App, its servers, or networks.
Respect the intellectual property rights of PikLig Developers and third parties.
Refrain from any unauthorized scraping, copying, or distribution of data from the App.
Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App's software.
Not to create any similar applications, software or services while copying the code of conduct of this "Kotipathi" application or without any concern with us "PikLig Developers".

Intellectual Property Protection under Sri Lankan Law

The App's content and underlying technology are protected under various provisions of Sri Lankan law, including:

Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003 (as amended): This Act protects original literary, artistic, and scientific works, including software, databases, and compilations, from unauthorized reproduction, distribution, and adaptation.
Computer Crimes Act No. 24 of 2007: This Act criminalizes unauthorized access to computer systems, data, and programs, including any attempts to hack, reverse engineer, or extract data without permission.
Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006 (as amended): This Act provides legal recognition for electronic transactions and contracts and addresses issues related to electronic records, digital signatures, and online security.
Other Related laws: Unfair Competition, Trade Secrets Act, Consumer Affairs Authority Act etc. (PikLig Developers can use relavant clause in legal actions against the violation of these copy rights and also intellectual propery rights)

Disclaimers

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date lottery results, PikLig Developers does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided in the App. Users should always verify results with official sources such as the National Lotteries Board and Development Lotteries Board. PikLig Developers is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for any actions taken in reliance on the information contained in the App.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by PikLig Developers. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that PikLig Developers shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Copyright and Legal Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this notice or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka.

Copyright Infringement Claims

PikLig Developers respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or used in the App in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with a written notice containing the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Amendments

PikLig Developers reserves the right to modify or update this Copyright and Legal Notice at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the App. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Copyright and Legal Notice.
